Nebamun Tomb Chapel Painting - Replica 2023

Exoskeleton Glove 2014

As a huge fan of the Iron Man movies, I decided to recreate the gauntlet for medical use, which can help patients after a stroke regain normal gripping force. I redesigned DC motors into linear actuators that operate the fingers via artificial tendons. When the user moves their fingertips, the internal pressure sensors catch the signal and send it to the actuators, which can operate the fingers with normal human force to assist with grabbing.
